Leigh Mohorn ALC.

Leigh is an Associate Licensed Counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. She is under the supervision of Lacey Moore, MS, LPC-S, MAC. Leigh is dedicated to creating a safe, collaborative space where clients of all ages can explore their experiences, heal emotional wounds, and grow toward greater well-being.

She specializes in perinatal mental health, offering support through the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and pregnancy loss. She has received advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. In addition, she has extensive experience working with trauma across the lifespan, including children as young as four years old.

Leigh is trained in Brainspotting and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—two powerful modalities for accessing and processing deeply held trauma. She also incorporates Adlerian Play Therapy and other play-based approaches to help children build emotional resilience in developmentally appropriate ways.

Her clinical background includes experience in both nonprofit and private practice settings, which has given her a broad understanding of the diverse needs and strengths of the individuals and families she serves.

Leigh uses a warm, person-centered approach and integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Attachment-Based Therapy

  • Brainspotting

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Play Therapy

  • Trauma-Focused Therapy

  • TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

Whether working with adults or children, Leigh strives to foster a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, trust, and meaningful connection.
